My name is Anna, and my passion is called "tatting lace."
Over the years, I have done a lot of research, and in addition to traditional tatting, I have also learned Ankars techniques (whose origins are from Eastern countries) and Celtic tatting. I enjoy creating jewelry and accessories because they allow me to unleash my creativity.
Furthermore, by organizing courses, I have the opportunity to share this beautiful technique with others
Hello! My name is Martina and I'm an artisan and naturalist.
In my laboratory, I create macramé lace and stone jewelry inspired by the nature that surrounds me: there's no place that hasn't sparked the idea for a necklace or a ring, strange but true!
I have a true mantra that I apply from choosing which vegetables to cook to the jewelry I create: it's better to do a few things well than many things haphazardly. That's why I do what I do: I want to restore the rightful value to things that have slowly lost it.

Embroidery is a fundamental part of my life. Since I was little, I have been passionate about this art, starting with simple techniques and eventually, after many years, approaching a type of embroidery that I prefer: modern embroidery made of colorful fabrics and threads, while still using traditional techniques. The many years of study have led me to invent a new technique, Sicilian Créatif embroidery, representative of the land I live in, but at the same time, filled with many innovations. So, besides embroidering and incorporating my own designs as the starting point, I try to pass on my experience to those, especially beginners, who have a desire to learn.
At Abilmente, I will share my passion for Fiber Arts and embroidery, in particular. I will impart everything I have learned over 55 years of practice and experience in this field, teaching you all that I know.
Get ready to engage in demonstrations and embroidery courses in Bandera, Bricco, Cavandoli, Crewel, Reticello, Byzantine, Drawn Thread, and Retina techniques. At my booth, you will also find kits, books, and designs for your projects.
I started dedicating myself to embroidery to strengthen my knowledge of the classic Reticello, a type of embroidery usually done in white on white. But then, I decided to take more daring steps and began exploring complex designs and adding colors to my embroidery, both in Reticello and other styles. And you know what? I ended up discovering something truly surprising! In Reticello, I found a way to create truly unique flowers, resulting in original designs that you can see in my Herbarium. I even applied these flowers to Hardanger embroidery, creating the "Fiordaliso," which has become very popular in my latest manual.
I'm Gelsomina, a skilled artisan who passionately and tenaciously crafts knitted articles using various manual techniques, such as knitting needles, crochet hooks, sewing, knitting machines, and hand weaving on small looms. At Abilmente, I offer courses using the hat loom, a loom born from my idea and handmade production. It allows for easy and quick creation of hats, neck warmers, small bags, and scarves.
Hello, I'm Jean Marie, and embroidery is my passion, especially I practice needle painting. I love learning, experimenting and constantly updating my skills. That's why several times a year, I attend courses at Maison Malbranche in Paris, one of the last schools dedicated to embroidery for household linens. I participate in numerous fairs and events to share my technique and my passion for fiber arts with fellow embroiderers.
Hello everyone! I'm Lia, a passionate embroiderer constantly seeking new challenges. I love experimenting and adding a fresh touch to the traditional world of embroidery.
While I have a strong attachment to classic materials like linen and typical threads, I enjoy surprising with innovative proposals from time to time, aiming to make this art form more vibrant and appealing to anyone willing to try their hand at it.
I can't wait to introduce at the upcoming Abilmente event the latest evolution of a well-known technique: Stumpwork, which will transform into an engaging Stumwork 3D.
Attracted from an early age to threads, fabrics, needlework, and couture, the desire to discover and enthusiasm for learning have driven me to attend courses for many years. It's thanks to Giuliana Buonpadre, my first teacher of Reticello, that my passion for this technique was born.
Creating, for me, means bringing together threads, materials, techniques, approaching the thread in different ways, an encounter with oneself, a moment of fulfillment, a journey in total freedom.
Teaching, for me, is about imparting this knowledge, my passion, guiding, meeting, a magnificent human experience, each time different and rich.
I'm Sylvie Lezziero, and working with a needle has always been part of my life. I grew up immersed in manual work and I learnt from a young age to use my hands and explore my creativity.
I taught on my own the technique of 'broiderie blanche' embroidery, using stitch designs found in women's magazines and the patterns from 'tourangelles' headwear.
Today, I teach and spread this knowledge with the sole aim of passing down this valuable heritage to future generations. I share this passion through regular appointments in associations, events, and gatherings both in my home country, France, and abroad.
